Job Description Summary

The Welcome Desk Ambassador is, primarily, responsible for assisting associates, contingent workers, and guests with navigating their workplace environment, to ensure full compliance with all safety guidelines and protocols. The Humana Works Welcome Desk Ambassador team will assist in protecting the workforce, by providing a compassionate presence and keen awareness, to support health protocols.
Additionally, the Welcome Desk Ambassador will effectively support daily operations and will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and becoming an integral part of shaping the Workplace experience, through service delivery consistency and excellence, establishing trust, and promoting a client centric awareness aligning with workplace culture and expectations.

  • Greets and directs all associates and guests with enthusiasm, professionalism, and courtesy.
  • Provides very positive and professional first impression to associates and visitors.
  • Partners with Humana Safety and Security
  • Knowledgeable of badging process
  • Supports associate return-to-work efforts in relation to COVID-19 impacts, and employee health and safety requirements (i.e. knowledgeable of the health screening kiosks operation and escalation of issues)
  • Assists and supports the use of masks, when required, as well as social distancing within the office space.
  • Provides office space guidance to personnel needing assistance.
  • Ensures there are masks and hand sanitizer available at the Welcome Desk
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures, following all safety and security protocols.
  • Ensures all complaints, questions, concerns, and suggestions, from associates, are addressed and conducts a follow-up, if needed.
  • Cultivates relationships with associates, to better understand their requirements and improve Workplace’s ability to address them.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high touch support to associates in the workplace, specifically in the lobby and high traffic areas. This includes, providing associates with tools, support and information about the building.
  • Support return to office efforts, including safety guidelines, best practices, and standards for associates and cross-functional service teams.
  • Regularly assess space readiness; ensuring lobby areas are welcoming, safe and ready for occupancy.
  • Proactively identify compliance issues and address or escalate, as necessary.
  • Ensure complaints, questions, concerns, and suggestions, from associates and guests, are adequately addressed.
  • Obtain voice of the associate data (quantitative and qualitative), to capture service needs. Share information with leadership and cross-functional teams (i.e. The Loop).

Requirements

  • Work Experience – Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in real estate services, retail, travel/hospitality, brand/ product management, management consulting, or change management.
  • Education – Minimum high school degree
  • Work Requirements – Operate in a professional office environment. Knowledge of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and competent in standard office, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Physical Requirements – Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time and travel from floor to floor or between buildings.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May be required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel from floor to floor and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time; regularly use hands to operate office machinery including, but not limited to, telephones, computers, fax, and photocopy machines; regularly required to walk, talk, and hear.
