VP of Systems
The VP of Systems will be responsible for all phases of operating Yardi, Onesite,and Entrata platform -along with other system oversight relating to operational needs and integrations.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of 1-3 systems support team members. This would include: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations of employees in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new modules, and enhancements.
- Keeps current on all modules feature updates and system changes to ensure software is
- understood and utilized to fullest capacity.
- Assist with system upgrades, implementations, integrations and maintenance through validation and
- testing of proposed resolutions and releases.
- Act as a primary point of contact for end user questions to ensure they are addressed and/ or tickets are submitted.
- Provides timely responses in a professional, customer service-oriented fashion that resolves core,
- commercial and residential issues as efficiently as possible.
- Manage user and group security access of all modules.
- Manage any third-party application integration and coordinate with third party consultants, as needed.
- Work with Training & Development Team to support the development of elearning content, scheduling of training events, and modifications to current learning programs.
- Collect and review historical billing and reporting.
- Assist with finding error in billing and creating support tickets to make corrections.
- Interface with clients to facilitate understanding of property performance and unique characteristics of assets.
- Gather and analyze market information to include billing audits
- Lead and manage various internal projects.
- Preparation of materials as necessary.
- Prepare and ensure accurate and timely weekly/monthly/quarterly property reporting.
- Answer and direct resident calls at the Corporate Level.
- Other clerical duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience and/or knowledge in Property Management Software such as Onesite, Entrata and Yardi
- Problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills required.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Must be able to work with multiple deadlines and tasks while maintaining efficiency and control over projects assigned.
- Worked as a team leader/supervisory role
