To keep up with a growing workload in Auckland, we currently require an experienced Trade Assistant to join our Carpentry team based in Auckland.

The successful applicant will be part of a diverse trades working out of our Trades Branch Auckland.

You will be working as part of a team, comprised of Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians and our Building Maintenance crew ensuring our clients’ facilities are maintained to a high level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Workload will consist of a combination of reactive maintenance and minor project work, but also assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance works.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

• Trade experienced, ideally with Carpentry maintenance knowledge.

• Commercial maintenance experience is highly desirable.

• Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Ability or willingness to learn to use a tablet/iPad (for job dispatch).

Health & Safety is a priority for Cushman & Wakefield and the successful candidate will be expected to have a good understanding of the H&S requirements and behaviours in commercial environment. Good personal presentation and customer service skills are also essential, as is a clean full driver’s license.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a drug test, complete a Pre-employment Health Questionnaire and MOJ check. A criminal conviction review is also a requirement of the role.
