Technical Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Able to multi-task by working on multiple projects related to the enterprise data strategy.
- Participate in sessions with the business to elicit requirements and ensure documentation has as much depth and context as possible to convey the goals of the business.
- Create functional specification documents and other design artifacts as necessary including workflow diagrams and charts.
- Translate business requirements or high-level user stories into detailed user stories or technical issues that can be interpreted by the technical teams.
- Write acceptance criteria for user stories that contain key information to provide technical teams guidance on work completion.
- Generate user stories across business and technology teams to support a healthy backlog of data development within assigned domain.
- Participate in analysis with architect and engineering resources to document technical direction of data project and product enhancement work.
- Perform ad hoc analysis which includes light sql work as necessary.
- Help to develop test plans, create test cases, execute testing, and ensure alignment with business requirements and project objectives.
- Assist with functional testing including reviewing and accepting or declining output of data development to ensure specified acceptance criteria have been completed.
Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.
