A multi-family property company is looking for a Leasing Manager to support a Student Housing apartment complex in the Seattle area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all business is conducted according to company policy.
- Assists with resident communications and requests.
- Develops weekly schedule for Leasing Specialists.
- Prepares and signs leasing agreements with renewing and new residents.
- Responsible for lease administration; finalization of lease agreements, conduct file audits, ensure lease contracts are complete and orderly, submit to the General Manager for review and signature.
- Trains leasing staff on how to answer inquiries, perform task, track efforts, market on campus and locations that students frequent.
- Create annual marketing plan and ensure execution of all marketing tactics outlined.
- Oversees the property web presence in accordance with Company policy through maintenance of social media pages.
- Responsible for organizing and executing leasing campaigns and promotional events both on and off campus.
- Prepares reports weekly as directed by Company policy; occupancy, traffic, market survey and rent collection.
- Ensure the property workflow for the office and maintenance teams are being followed.
- Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in fair, ethical and consistent manner.
Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years’ experience as an apartment leasing manager in the Seattle market
- Must have knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must know community software (such as Onsite, Yardi, Resman, etc.)
- Must know and comprehend Fair Housing Laws
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience needed:
- High School Diploma or GED
- College Degree in Marketing preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $50k-$55k/year
