Job Description Summary

The Senior Director, Client Services is responsible for generating property management opportunities within their respective Division including working with a variety of institutional and private ownership groups.

Job Description

• Be a brand ambassador–represent Cushman and Wakefields multifamily management platform locally and regionally and personify Cushman and Wakefield values of being inclusive, driven, collaborative, and insightful

• Be the local market or region expert – intimately understand the demand drivers in the MSA(s) both from a renter and an investor perspective

• Be a product expert – understand the trends in apartment living in the MSA(s)

• Be a service expert – understand how our offering is uniquely positioned to drive value for clients

• Develop and nurture relationships with local developers, ownership groups as well as national institutional investors

• Build and manage a pipeline of new multifamily property management prospects for region or state

• Support the Senior Managing Director of Client Services and local operations market leader(s) in growing the multifamily property management portfolio

• Oversee region Analyst and work closely with underwriting assignments on behalf of Clients as part of their growth pursuits

• Run point on proposal and “pitch” processes as needed in support of regional growth-Coordinate with various C&W departments to complete proposals, marketing materials, analytics, etc. , necessary to support the growth of the portfolio * Coordinate client needs for acquisition support, due diligence, underwriting, development consulting, asset reviews, operating performance reviews, market analysis, and general support to existing and new C&W multifamily clients

• Coordinate with internal legal and operations leaders to support client contract negotiations

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of third-party multifamily management experience

• Proven track record of relationship building with institutional and private owners

• Internally motivated self-starter

• “Passion for the pursuit” – enjoys and thrives on winning new business

• Ability to solve problems quickly, handle multiple tasks, and to organize resources in support of complex client and internal deliverables

• Attention to detail with proven follow up and organizational skills

• Excellent knowledge of multifamily real estate operations and market trends

• Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation

• Team oriented with the ability to build consensus across all levels of the organization

• Ability to grow and maintain strong relationships over time
