Senior Surveyor (Fixed Contract – Maternity Leave Cover)Job Description Summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Chartered Surveyor within the Valuation and Advisory team based out of our Galway office.The ideal candidate will have experience in the preparation of valuation reports, and be confident advising on a broad range of asset types across all commercial market sectors. You will also be working closely with the wider national Cushman & Wakefield commercial team.
Job Description
This role will require you to liaise with our national and regional valuation teams, plus include the following responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of valuations and to be able to justify the methodology.
- Liaising with the client and other colleagues in the business.
- Produce valuation reports on time and with accuracy.
- Take an active role in undertaking research for the team.
- Act as a mentor to the Graduates/interns within the team.
Ideal previous experience and qualifications:
- MSCSI MRICS qualified or equivalent
- Registered valuer
- A solid understanding of income driven investment valuations and development appraisals
- Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and Argus Enterprise and Developer
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, enabling the development of good relationships with both clients and colleagues.
