Job Description

What will be your exposure?

• Oversee project delivery for our major advisory services including but not limited to the sustainability/ESG framework development, sustainability/ ESG reporting, sustainability ratings, carbon neutrality, climate risk, green finance, etc.
• Conduct quality control on project deliverables and maintain client expectations throughout project delivery
• Lead the team to support clients in achieving sustainability objectives by providing recommendations to enhance clients’ sustainability/ ESG strategy, framework, and related tools
• Support the team to manage client relationships, and drive business development efforts including preparing service proposals and delivery of presentations
• Grow and manage the team through recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies (Engineering, Science or Management), Business, Translation, relevant qualifications demonstrating understanding of sustainability; Master’s degree in a related field is preferred
• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience from a management consultancy, financial services firm, rating agency, in-house corporate sustainability role, or other relevant private-sector roles with an ESG reporting advisory, carbon accounting, climate-related services, with demonstrated experience completing/ leading ESG or sustainability projects
• Strong current knowledge in one or more of the following: ESG frameworks, ESG due diligence, carbon auditing and target setting, international financial reporting standards, ESG rating, ESG assurance and/or green finance
• Extensive experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating and managing project teams and clients toward the successful completion of a project
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with good attention to details
• Motivated by working on complex challenges in a fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic work environment
• Capacity to work across different time zones and to hold meetings outside of regular local working hours
