Job Description Summary

As a key member of the Global Occupier Services (GOS) EHS Group, the role supports the internal strategy on a key client account and reports directly to the Senior Managing Director, EHS & Governance, and partners with the Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) client Account Director. The role is accountable for implementing and maintaining effective processes and develops best practices to drive a culture of EHS operational excellence.

Job Description

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES:

• Reports on EHS performance to the C&W Account Leadership team.
• Leverages internal EHS platform to deliver operational excellence.
• Implements C&W EHS Corporate processes and systems.
• Oversees C&W’s ISO 45001 Management System.
• Supports the C&W Contractor/Supplier EHS Qualification system.
• Identifies risk associated with the management of C&W contractors.
• Partners with the Project Management teams in creating and maintaining EHS processes.
• Ensures regulatory requirements and client EHS policies are integrated into operations.
• Audits Facility Management/Engineering teams.
• Implements and manages EHS technology platforms and data management tools.
• Provides Risk Assessments/Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Investigates incidents in conjunction with C&W’s internal EHS management system.
• Maintains and reports Quarterly against an annual health and safety plan and compliance register.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:

• Bachelor of Science degree is required. Specialization in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering or Environmental Sciences is preferred.

• Requires 10 years of experience within the EHS profession.
• Experience with ISO 45001 is preferred.
• Broad knowledge of Environmental, Occupational Health, regulations (OSHA/EPA/NFPA).
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to find solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to leverage office systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, etc.
• The ability to travel (approximately 20 %).
• Experience within Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) is preferred.
• Candidates able obtain to Professional Certifications (CSP, ASP, CHST, etc.) are desirable.
