Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Senior People Partner will own the strategic relationships within key business areas, partnering the business leaders on driving the business agenda and shaping the overall business strategy.
Reporting to the Head of People Partnering, EMEA, this person will also be responsible for leading on key HR projects and initiatives.
The People Partner will manage organization design, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, leadership coaching and workforce planning. Â With the support and close partnership of the People Team Centreâs of Excellence (COEâs) the successful candidate will also manage compensation and contracts, pay and benefits, senior talent hiring and talent development activities.
The role is specifically responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the local people team, Â working in close partnership with the People Services teams to ensure all employment law requirements are satisfactorily met across all areas of Human Resources, ensuring legally accurate and commercially sensible Employee Relations solutions are provided in a timely and effective way to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for owning the key business stakeholder relationships
- The day-to-day management of assigned business units, taking responsibility for advising the business leaders
- Partnering the business leaders on driving the overall business agenda and shaping the business strategy
- Coaching senior leaders on business and people development
- Using people data and insights to solve business challenges and steer business decisions
- Improving the employee experience by continually reviewing the current polices and processâs
- Advising on career paths and development needs for key business roles
- Act as liaison between the business needs and the People team; work with Center of Excellence to leverage expertise, processes, and programs to meet business outcomes
- Take the lead on specific employee cases
- Advise People function on business impact of policies, process, and programs owned and driven by Center of Excellence, People Services
- Advocate for the Global People Team and trust their peers to bring expertise, insights, delivery
Knowledge & Experience:
- MBA or other relevant degree in Human resources preferable. 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Proven HR Generalist skills including employee relations, employment law, employee engagement, succession planning, Compensation, Performance management, Workforce planning and hiring.
- Industry knowledge of Commercial Real Estate, Transactions / Sales, or Services experience ideal
- Working knowledge of employment law framework
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues and motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and people groups to take desired action.
- Hands-on experience with HR Technology platforms to manage people data, compensation, performance and reward activities including Excel, Workday and a variety of payroll platforms.
- A capable and confident communicator and people manager, with strong personal presence. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
- English and Dutch language fluency is required
