Job Description Summary

Client Operations provide end to end property and facilities management services, including asset management, environmental services, capital works project management and compliance to Cushman & Wakefield contract portfolio of clients to ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and contract compliance at all times

Job Description

C&W are pleased to be recruiting for an additional team member to join us in the capacity of Senior Facilities Coordinator on site at the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Working closely with the Contract Manager the Senior FC will work closely with internal team members and external contractors to ensure we continue to deliver best in class services in order to maintain this world-renowned asset.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Facilities Management: Oversee the delivery of hard FM services across mechanical, electrical, building maintenance, building infrastructure, asset management, fire prevention, and other engineered services. Manage and coordinate hard FM services subcontractors.
  • Proactively identify needed repairs, maintenance, or updates required. Responsibilities will also include updating the asset register, reviewing asset data analysis, alarm maintenance, etc. as well as providing the client with specific insight into anomalies and system adjustments and required updates.
  • Contractor Management: Assists in the management and coordination of hard FM services subcontractors. Reviews and spot-checks contractor performance.

About You:

  • Trade background (carpentry/plumbing/electrical)
  • Ability to build rapport and work with a diverse customer base
  • Experience in contractor management with excellent knowledge of building services operations.
  • Strong understanding of building compliance, Workplace Health & Safety and environmental obligations.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and resolve issues with a solution focused client centric approach
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong leadership capability
