Senior Claims Supervisor
Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and monitoring the activities of the third-party claims administrator unit
Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and coaching the assigned Claims Associates
Work with internal leaders to streamline the claims process and monitor certain claims for reporting internally
Responsible for the communication of all high exposure claims to our excess/umbrella carriers.
Work with the Claims Associates to review all litigated claims with defense counsel. Assist legal panel with various discovery requests (I.e., interrogatories).
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To provide settlement and reserve authority when needed in excess of the authorized limits.
- Responsible for the direction, motivation, leadership, and technical guidance of the Claims Associates and the TPA unit.
- To share their experience/knowledge
- To coordinate and attend bi-annual claims reviews with our TPA
Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.
