Responsible for scheduling and dispatching building trade personnel in response to client/tenant work orders, vendor/contractor visits and requests, equipment and system problems and failures, building emergencies, and for conveyance of materials and shipments.Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Receive work orders/requests, schedule of vendor/contractor visits and work assignments, and related building activities in order to schedule and dispatch appropriate building personnel to fulfill the order/request
* Duties may include using radio, telephone, or computer to transmit assignments and compiling statistics and reports on work progress
* Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules
* Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and site inspectors
* Confer with tenants, building management or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment
* Prepare daily work and run schedules
* Receive or prepare work orders
* Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules
* Record and maintain files and records of client/tenant requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information
* Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications
* May also order supplies and equipment, and issue them to personnel as needed
* We believe that great customer service is the center of a great Security Department. We are looking for individuals that provide an exemplary customer service experience to the tenants and guests of the class A portfolio all while conducting duties of protecting the building/ providing emergency response appropriately. This include patrols, floor checks, emergency incident response, security audits, surveillance camera patrols/ reviews, access control, visitor management all while having positive interactions with internal and external guests

IMPORTANT EDUCATION
* Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE
* 1-2 years of experience with dispatching, shipping/receiving, help desk, or related activities
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
* Basic commercial building/facility, equipment, and mechanical knowledge is preferred, but not required
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel from floor to floor, climb stairs, and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly use hands to operate office machinery and regularly required to walk, talk, and hear.
