Gables Residential is currently hiring for aRecruiterto assist our Talent Acquisition team in sourcing, interviewing and selecting exceptional candidates for our organization. This is a role where you will have the opportunity to develop your Human Resources skillset as well as utilize creative and marketing skills to drive success. The Recruiter will work across the organization with hiring managers to act on a diversity strategy plan including having diverse candidate slates for key jobs and identifying and developing high potential diverse talent for promotional opportunities. *This position may be located in Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX dependent on candidate preference*
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR and Training to execute against and be accountable for the HR Talent Strategy.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to post all open positions, gain understanding into culture and position requirements to create and recommend sourcing strategy.
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle including: job requisition design, sourcing, screening, pre-employment processes, compliance, offers of employment and onboarding.
- Work with leaders to implement a diversity strategy plan including having diverse candidate slates for key jobs and identifying and developing high potential diverse talent.
- Promote Gables brand through marketing efforts
- Expand and create relationships with educational institutions and technical colleges
- Manage Gables workforce development partnerships
- Assess current and future talent needs and work with Talent Acquisition team to develop plans and programs to address talent and skills gaps.
- Conduct interviews and create a consistent talent pipeline for assigned regions.
- Manages the exit interview and stay interview processes in order to gain insight into reasons for turnover.
- Facilitates effective and timely completion of core HR programs and processes (e.g. Human Capital Planning, Compensation Planning, Performance Management, Engagement Survey) to support the selection, development, and engagement of property management talent.
- Review analytics to ensure recruitment targets are being met and proactive sourcing strategies align with business needs
- Supports HR team as needed with special projects associated with talent acquisition, benefits, associate performance, workforce management and HRIS.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor s Degree from an accredited university or college
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in human resources or recruitment
- Experience building and tracking metrics with high-level proficiency in MS Excel
Experience Preferred
- DEI Certification or experience supporting and enabling the work of DEI
- Experience in talent sourcing and interviewing techniques
- Experience in a role requiring independent decision-making and management of conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred but not required
- Outstanding collaboration and project management skills
- Understanding of HR concepts and principles, including sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements
- Experience with Workday systems and applications or other ATS
Attendance/Travel
This position is exempt from overtime and may entail working hours as needed to perform the position requirements satisfactorily. The position is scheduled for a typical 40-hour workweek, however, from time to time additional hours will be required to support business needs. This position will require some limited travel.
Licenses/Equipment
A valid driver s license and current automobile insurance is required. Position requires individuals to furnish their own vehicle to fulfill all of the job s functions.
