Have you considered working in Real Estate and want to have the opportunity for a global organisation? We are currently recruiting for a Property Administrator to join our Occupier Management team here in Birmingham.This role will see you working alongside Senior Surveyors and Associates, assisting in the management of one of our large clients with a notable reach across the UK.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist the team with the delivery of day to day property matters on a large UK wide portfolio
- Liaising with C&W’s internal Accounts Team on the payment of Rents and Service Charges
- Liaising with the Property Administration Team in respect of database changes and invoice authorisation
- Property Inspections for management purposes
- Liaising with landlords on minor issues and escalating to senior colleagues as appropriate
- Dealing with tenants including repair issues and arrears
- Providing support to the Estates Helpdesk in terms of lease interpretation and liaising with Facilities Management suppliers
Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience of property management and knowledge of lease terms preferred but training will be given
- Good level of computer literacy including Excel, Word and Outlook and ability to pick up new packages quickly
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to deal with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Good understanding of finance and accounting, specifically property related, preferred but training will be given.
The ideal candidate will be confident working in a client facing role, be able to [prioritise high work loads and have excellent verbal; and written communication skills.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start a career within property and has the desire to progress. You will gain the exposure and experience of working closely with our Surveyors to support our Landlords and Tenants.
