Job Description Summary

As a market facing leader in the PDS service line for the region, the Project Manager will maintain critical client relationships and represent the Cushman & Wakefield brand in the industry. Owing to growth, the team is seeking to appoint an experienced client-side PM to join our Queensland team and provide services on behalf of our Corporate and Defence Clients. This role can be based in Brisbane or Townsville.
Due to the Client requirements for a baseline security clearance, Australian Citizenship is required for this role.

Job Description

This is a dynamic role working across prominent and long-standing clients. It will provide the incumbent with exposure to working on highly complex and challenging projects which all assist in further enhancing their already considerable skill set. Ideally, we are seeking applications from those who can demonstrate:

• To provide excellence in Project Management services and manage the delivery of projects within the Defence sector
• Delivery of multiple projects from feasibility through to handover and defects liability.
• Timely and accurate financial management of managed projects.
• Actively seek new business opportunities
• Mentor more junior staff and assist new hires.
• Prepare and present tender submissions and client presentations
• Proactively review workplace systems / processes to innovate and continuously improve the customer journey and workplace experience.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Degree qualification in building surveying, project management or equivalent construction related degree;
• Prior experience working with Defence (current baseline security clearance required)
• Proven experience working in a client representative role
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and manage a wide range of stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
• Established professional network within industry.
