Procurement Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all companies, products and service offerings within the industry as well as relationships with applicable vendor or 3rd party representatives.
- Examine and re-evaluate existing national contracts.
- Maintain records relating to existing national contracts in order to monitor and periodically re-bid via a comprehensive RFP process, the results of which are submitted to the appropriate leadership for approval.
- Devise and deploy effective sourcing strategies with high-quality suppliers, vendors, 3rd party representatives, etc.
- Develop detailed scopes and specifications as needed to effectively solicit and compare competitive proposals that are best-suited for the company.
- Negotiate the most favorable terms available for national accounts.
- Collect information as necessary to track and report on key performance metrics pertaining to revenue, profitability, and compliance.
- Collaborate with key persons within the company as needed to understand operational requirements and facilitate buyin for specific departmental or organizational initiatives.
- Effectively communicate elements of the program(s) by maintaining the appropriate departmental/organizational portal(s), creating and distributing periodic newsletters to teams.
- Anticipate unfavorable events and comparative changes in negotiating position of suppliers, vendors, 3rd party representatives, etc. through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.

Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.
