Job Description Summary

Cushman and Wakefield are looking for an experienced individual to join their Client Finance team as a Portfolio Accountant, based in our Dublin office.
You will be reporting to the Head of Client Finance, and will be responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of properties we look after.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Preparation and distribution of tenant billings, recording cash receipts and tenant ledger reconciliations
• Accounts payable – review and coding of invoices, payment run management and issuing remittance advices
• Financial control – maintenance of the general ledger, posting accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Lease administration – setting up new properties and tenants
• Cash management – daily monitoring of cash balances to ensure excess funds are swiftly remitted to owners
• Completion of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Preparation of year-end service charge working papers and audit files
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including clients and property managers; and
• Identify opportunities to standardise, streamline and simplify procedures that will drive efficiencies within the department.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Qualified Accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA
• Experience in a similar role (preferably in property management)
• Strong excel skills, (incl. pivot tables, V-lookups etc….)
• Knowledge of Yardi software an advantage

The ideal candidate will be organised with great attention to detail, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and possess the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise high work loads.
