About the business
A great opportunity exists to join the Cushman & Wakefield Facilities team as we expand our operations. Our maintenance team are seeking a Plumber with experience in building services maintenance to assist our Contract and Operation Managers, providing excellent customer service on behalf of our client.
About the role
We currently have a full-time position for experienced Plumber in the Brisbane area. As a member of the team, you will be reporting into the Operations Manager, where your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Undertake urgent, routine & ad-hoc maintenance, repairs, inspections.
- Be able to conduct other small maintenance works outside the scope of plumbing
- Working autonomously and run your own preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Manage external subcontractors, ensuring a high standard of work is maintained at all times
- Working in a team environment to complete all maintenance and minor project related tasks.
- General ad hoc duties as requested by the Operations Manager
- Promote working in a team environment with work colleagues
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position you will bring previous experience in a similar environment. Minimum requirements include:
- Relevant Trade Qualification – Plumbing.
- Building, construction or Facility Maintenance background such as repairs and preventative maintenance
- Experienced working in a strict WHSSE quality environment
- Plumbing experience, general maintenance, and overall facility maintenance experience.
- Experience in CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) would be advantageous
- Experience or Knowledge in BMS (Building Management Systems) would be advantageous
This role is offered on a permanent afternoon shift, with working hours from 1.30pm – 10pm.
