Operations Specialist

This position is responsible for development, implementation and administration of the Company’s varied compliance and/or sustainability policies, practices and programs. Scope of responsibilities may include legal and regulatory governance and compliance, environmental compliance, conservation and other related programs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Assists in the due diligence and take-over process by completing file audits and unit inspections as well as conducting interviews and on-boarding processes.

2. Acts as a performance improvement resource to managers by following up to provide individual coaching and one-on-one training, conducting remedial and refresher training, and suggesting education and training alternatives and options based on specific situations.

3. Develop, implement sustainability/compliance programs, creating presentations as needed for the appropriate client and/or operational audiences.

4. Conduct required testing for all elements of programs and provide supporting documentation of all results; Provide updates and recommendations on additions or modifications to advance initiatives, ensure compliance, efficiency and process improvement.

5. Establish, foster and maintain relationships with external vendors and other 3rd party organizations necessary to cultivate programs that will support legal/regulatory compliance, energy and resource consumption reduction, and/or advocate sustainability to communities.

6. May respond to inquiries from clients and federal and state entities regarding procedures and produce written documentation as proof of compliance.

7. Conducts Focus Groups to identify housing needs and communicate potential new housing trends.

Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.
