Operations Auditor

The Operations Auditor is responsible for conducting property audits both in-person and digitally to evaluate the adherence to company policies and procedures. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications. Additional responsibilities or functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by Asset Living. $26.00 hourly.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • General Office Support

    • Advanced computer skills on MS Office.
    • Maintain a positive attitude, professional appearance and courteous disposition at all times.
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
    • Fully understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
    • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
    • Sound independent judgement.
    • Have reliable transportation.
    • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process.
    • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measure.
    • Maintain open communication with senior management.
    • Document process and prepare audit findings.
    • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management interventions.
    • Evaluate internal audit scope.
    • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding company regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.

Experience

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to print & distribute routine reports and correspondence.
  • Light math skills required.
  • Ability to understand and deal effectively with co-workers, vendors or residents if necessary, regarding personnel concerns or issues according to company policy regardless of attitude, behavior or tone of the individual.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to use Yardi software, as well as other web-based products currently used or to be used in the future.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
