About the Role

Lead and manage the implementation of the facilities management strategy for a major banking and financial client.

You will manage a portfolio of retail properties located in Victoria and be responsible for the delivery of the strategic asset maintenance management, lifecycle and compliance for the buildings across the portfolio.

This role requires high level time management and contractor coordination skills to deliver exceptional customer service and outstanding operational performance.

What You Will be Doing

  • Provide facilities management support to non-technical facilities and assets (retail, ATMs) in accordance with the scope and service levels as well as statutory and regulatory obligations to meet the compliance requirements the site
  • Ensure the implementation of scheduled routine tasks and preventative maintenance activities
  • Day to day operational management and coordination of vendor partner base to deliver maintenance works within site / client guidelines
  • Provide content for site specific induction and essential site information
  • Seek support from Health and Safety team when issuing impairment notices to insurers and subsequent management of process
  • Provide feedback via appropriate channels / mechanisms on vendor performance and value for money
  • Provide input and seek support from the sustainability team to drive opportunities to implement sustainable practices and build case studies
  • Identify opportunities for improved occupancy and space management solutions in client portfolio
  • Manage the budget and financial performance of sites and provide input into annual budget preparation
  • Supervise and lead team members with a focus on engagement, compliance and high performance by ensuring individual goal setting and development plans are in place.

What You Will Bring

  • Previous experience managing facilities services across retail and industrial assets is essential
  • Strong contractor/stakeholder management experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in facilities management or relevant is preferred
  • Self-motivated and flexible
