National Manager, Learning & Talent Development
Overview
Join a team with 50 years of success in the real estate industry! Lincoln Property Company is currently hiring for a National Manager of Learning & Talent Development. The National Manager, Learning & Talent Development (National Manager, L&TD) is responsible for helping create a company-wide learning program designed around associate development, operational efficiency, and risk management.
The position partners with corporate and regional leaders to assess business needs and skill gaps, then works with all levels and positions within the company to create and implement learning solutions to better business outcomes. Main areas of impact include performance management, change management, culture assessment and betterment, associate engagement, associate growth, and policy compliance. Emphasis is placed on creating an engaging associate experience, creative sourcing, eliminating company liability, reporting/learning metric (outcomes), training, team building, morale, and customer service. The National Manager, L&TD reports directly to the Vice President, Learning & Talent Development. Does this sound like you? Join us!

Responsibilities
The following outlines the complete job description of the National Manager, L&TD:
Instructional Design + Curriculum Development
* Responsible for analysis, identification, design, and development of instructional content for video/web-based and instructor-led courses to match defined objectives and target audience(s) to better measurable business outcomes.
* Develop training solutions and measuring criteria, choosing media that is most suitable to the course content/target audience and centric to adult learning principles and perceived ROI/ROE.
* Maintain and modify all learning media and content to be policy compliant.
* Monitor and evaluate training programs’ effectiveness and success against business needs and strategies periodically and report on them. Resolve specific problems and tailor training programs as needed to meet business outcomes. Retire learning that no longer meet operational objectives.
* Produce learning videos, from conception to release, through a variety of media production tools, specializing in web-video production and delivery.
* Design and develop new business practices, thus transforming corporate culture, team solutions, and facilitating leadership development training.
* Liaise cross-functionally and regionally to ensure collaborative execution, policy consistency, and operative efficiencies.
Technologies
* Identify, vet and recommend learning technologies to aid in the development of learning initiatives and performance support
* Be familiar with Lincoln’s chosen learning or content management system(s) and reporting. One National Manager position is responsible for the overall administration of such a system, as designated.
Marketing
* Design and develop strategic and branded marketing campaigns, including design, to introduce new curriculum and prolong learning.
Training + Assessment
* Implement and conducts continuing education programs for team members.
* Communicate LPC’s expectations for learning and personal responsibility for growth.
* Coach associates, including regional or onsite teams, for professional advancement, bench strength development and leadership re-balancing.
* Ensure all associates comply with national training programs.
Meetings & Special Events
* Attend and contribute/present at Business Manager and RPM Meetings.
* Aid in the planning, scheduling, and conducting meetings & special events (including learning and new initiative rollouts) for learning, recognition and awards events.
Additional Responsibilities

Required Training:
* Continuous learning through conferences, online classes, webinars, forums, certifications, and groups regarding adult learning, instructional design and ROI of learning

* Experience in the multi-family housing industry preferred
* Significant work experience as a trainer, coach, or training facilitator, preferably in a large corporate environment.
* Understanding, adherence, and application of instructional design theory, adult-learning techniques and neuroscience to create learning and improve performance outcomes.
* Curriculum development and content curation experience desired – including micro learning, eLearning, performance support, and ILT.
* Ability to write clear, compelling and accurate material to ensure realism and relevance to job performance.
* Exhibit a passion for developing others and living out LPC’s core values.
* Strategic thinker with big picture focus who can also execute in detail.
* Able to work autonomously and within a group.
* Strong project management skills. Able to complete projects on time with minimal supervision, driving projects forward to completion with multiple drivers and groups.
* Capacity to work cross-functionally and across silos to communicate, draw from, and train all levels of the company from the C-suite to onsite personnel.
* Capacity to monitor employee performance and response to training
* Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize work.
* Possess strong presentation skills, a polished professional demeanor, dependable, flexible and have an upbeat and positive attitude.
* Knowledgeable in leading learning-related web application software including but not limited to Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, video creation and editing.
* Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Internet, Google Suite, Go To Meeting)
* Life-long learner demonstrating a growth mindset.
* Ability to travel on an as-needed basis to attend/facilitate learning events and conferences.
