National Learning Manager


Overview

The National Learning Manager owns training programs and content associated with Lincoln Property Company’s Operational Programs including Audit, Policy/Procedure, Budget/Finance, Maintenance Training and training support for large National business initiatives.

The leader in this role assesses company-wide developmental needs to support Operational Excellence within the organization. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective learning solutions to educate leaders and associates.

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conducts training and development needs assessments for programs in their assigned learning vertical.
  • Develops training and development programs and objectives.
  • Monitors learning project spending against the assigned departmental budget.
  • Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of modalities.
  • Trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
  • Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for Operations learning National training events.
  • Develops and maintains organizational plans to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
  • Partners with leadership teams to identify and develop operational KPIs.
  • Conducts follow-up evaluation of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
  • Modifies existing Operations training programs as needed by proactively partnering with business partners to identify changes in content.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with various departments and levels of organization to ensure learning vertical remains informed on business needs and changes.
  • Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of Lincoln Property Company.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This role may have leadership over Trainers, or Instructional Designers or other Learning & Talent Development roles.
Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated history in a Learning & Talent Development leadership role.
  • Strong project management and learning project planning skills.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience of at least 2 years.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective training and development.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • Five years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
  • Property Management experience preferred.
