Perform moves of furniture, files and other office related equipment for the client.Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Move furniture and files, hang white boards and room name tags, perform minor furniture repairs, plus install computer keyboards as required. All work is to be done in a neat and workmanlike manner.
Perform conference room furniture setups.
Perform other related duties as assigned such as stocking copier paper, shoveling snow, assisting other tradesmen, and emergency repairs.
Must have knowledge and understanding of the tools required to perform necessary work.
Utilize all safety practices appropriate to the work being done.Attend, pay attention and participate in safety meetings and training.Observe and report safety violations.Use fall protection equipment and work on elevated areas.

OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES:
Ensures compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures. Receive and complete work orders with time, comments and date work is completed utilizing CMMS. Perform work requested in time allotted. Communications with all team members to support the company’s short and long range planning goals and objectives. Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Must maintain positive customer and employee relations.
REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):
EDUCATIONAL (Vocational and Technical Included)
High school or GED required.
EXPERIENCE (Special Skills Included)
Two (2) years experience as commercial mover preferred.
Valid Drivers License required.

Frequent mobility required for extended periods of time. Bending, stooping and working off of a ladder are required.
Employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally transfer and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Requires eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity and understanding sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other related equipment.
Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

The employee works both inside and outdoors and is exposed to changing conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving equipment and is exposed to wet and /or humid conditions. Occasionally works in high precarious places.
