Marketing Manager

As the Marketing Manager, you will join the Marketing team and lead the social media strategy, bring forth creative and innovative ideas, manage our relationships with creative agencies, and support our D. C. and Boston communities.
Roles You Will Play:
The Digital Marketer
- Manage daily social media presence and regularly update external social sites: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other emerging sites
- Drive strong engagement to and organic growth of all social media communities, conveying a sense of community and build our following driven by valuable content
- Work with the Director of Marketing to ensure we re fully leveraging the website for maximum impact/results
The Creative
- Act as lead for managing agencies and all marketing efforts and plans related to lease-ups
- Oversee the company s Paws to Care program, Gables OneStop marketing system, photography management, digital asset management, and other programs as assigned
- Seek out advertising opportunities on a regional basis to promote Gables
- Maintain and update the Gables Brand Standards Guidelines
The Ally
- Manage and support all lease-up efforts in the Boston, DC, Maryland, and Virginia markets
- Represent the Boston, DC, Maryland, and Virginia markets as the regional marketing expert, recommending, outlining, and managing strategic marketing plans.
- Work with the CMs/RMs/VPs to ensure traffic opportunities to the communities are being maximized, marketing standards are being followed, and renovations and lease-ups are on budget as far as traffic/leases
- Assist with 3rd party RFP new business presentations as needed
The Innovator
- Leverage additional existing and new software to improve the customer experience on social channels
- Help measure, optimize, drive, implement, and manage new marketing initiatives
Qualifications

Education
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Art, or a related field is required, with an emphasis on graphic design and digital media is preferred. The position requires the ability to read and write English fluently, and the ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.
Professional Experience
3-5 years experience in the apartment management industry preferred. Experience with the Adobe creative suite is also preferred.
Attendance/Travel
The position requires the ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year, when necessary. Position requires the ability to travel as necessary.
Licenses/Certifications
A valid driver s license and current automobile insurance is required. Position requires individuals to furnish their own vehicle to fulfill all the job s functions.
