Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for copy writing and strategic language development that effectively translates Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services solutions into compelling, professional narratives that contribute toward high-impact marketing and business development deliverables. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, able to connect key themes across the Asset Services business to effectively coordinate and develop complex and/or high-profile internal and/or external communication materials. This position requires the capability to write consistent and persuasive material aligned with the Cushman & Wakefield corporate voice, while articulating a winning strategic message.

Job Description

Responsibilities

* Partner in the development and execution of comprehensive internal and external communications plans for the Asset Services platform, its leadership, functional groups, and special corporate projects.

o Ensure quality of all internal communications deliverables

* Coordinate with regions and/or markets to promote clear, consistent communications during major corporate events (e.g., mergers and acquisitions, organizational realignments)

* Content development and posting for the Americas Asset Services intranet site, internet pages, blog posts, etc.

* Assist with background research and content development for speeches and presentations.

* Support communications needs of corporate operations and/or Asset Services business groups.

* Partner with Americas marketing leadership to develop and maintain a relevant content and social footprint promoting Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services business, culture, and thought leadership.

* Engage in social strategy and develop/source content for all channels including the Americas blog, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, intranet and/or internet website, and high-visibility executive’s social presence.

* Copywrite/proofread at all phases of project execution

* Develop copy across all media and formats, customized to the expectations of said format– print, online, social, advertising, business development, presentations, etc.

* Provide background research and content development for speeches, presentations, and other specific projects

* Ensure business wins, sponsorships, awards, and speaking opportunities are fully leveraged.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree required

* 5+ years of corporate communications experience

* Ideal candidate would have corporate communications experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry or related professional services industry

* Exceptional oral and written communication skills

* Ability to create copy that facilitates engagement and trust among internal and external stakeholders

* Ability to create content for a variety of media including video

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability meeting deadlines while juggling and prioritizing multiple competing tasks

* Confident self-starter with impeccable attention to detail

* Advanced analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills

* Ability to influence peers and leaders

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

* General knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and layout design basics

* Strong understanding of commercial real estate industry is ideal

* Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.

* Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style.

* Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.

* Ability to independently achieve successful outcomes on all executed activities

* Advanced project management and organizational skills

* Detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and customer service oriented

* Strong skills in communication, building and leveraging relationships, managing-up, down and across, stakeholder management and self confidence

* Ability to work with executives and revenue producers
