Manager, Product Ower
The global software solutions used is a top strategic priority for Greystar and will involve a mix of product development, go-to-market, and organizational design challenges. This role will be closely integrated with our Global Customer Base including not limited to Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Investment teams.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Manager, Product Owner, you will be responsible for the following:
Requirements Gathering
- Facilitates requirement gathering sessions with Business stakeholders
Managing the Backlog
- Develop the product backlog, including documenting of Features, Stories, and Acceptance Criteria in provided software tool
- Facilitates backlog grooming and design sessions in collaboration with the UX Strategists, Technology Team, and other Business SMEs
Prioritizing Development Effort
- Lead the prioritization effort with our development team(s) to ensure we are focused on the highest value features
- Facilitates dev priority calls with business and SAAS provider team(s)
User Acceptance Testing
- Leads coordination of user acceptance testing within team and with end users
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and written communication skills, and ability to drive technology and operations teams to make decisions
- Demonstrated proficiency in product management and process mapping
- Experience in Agile/Scrum/SAFe technology development environments
- Experience writing user stories, developing product backlogs, and understanding product requirements with users
- College degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education, training, and experience from which comparable skills and knowledge were acquired.
Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.
