Job Description Summary

Under the direction of the MAC Tech Lead and Facilities Manager, The MAC Technician will perform a variety of work in the installation, breakdown, and/or relocation of office partitions and furniture. Position requires current Texas driver’s license.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

.

• Assembles and installs modular office furniture and wall partitions
• Install or relocate office furniture
• Performs set-ups and breakdowns of tables and chairs for special events
• Hang bulletin boards, writing boards, and pictures
• Process all work order requests in a timely manner
• Lift and carry 50lbs without assistance and carry to 10 feet.
• Read drawings and work from plans and specifications.
• Proficient use of a variety of tools and machines used in the basic trades.
• Understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Meet schedules and timelines.
• Ability to effectively communicate and respond to customer needs
• Move materials around the facility using a company provided vehicle
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Requires attention to details, a pride in delivering excellent customer services, good organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
• May assist with other Facilities related functions
• Assist with installation of IT equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Three to five years, experience as a furniture installer in a commercial setting
• Familiar with furniture building and installation
• Experience with cubicle configuration, build and demo
• Ability to effectively communicate and respond to customer needs
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Requires attention to details, a pride in delivering excellent customer services, good organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience
