Job Description Summary

Launch Lead for Janitorial Services manages a multi-functional team to start-up or expand business. Interacting with the client’s stakeholders and the C&W Services functional support groups, this person will provide both hands- on support as well as team leadership.
This is a unique role in that it is also an entry point for service and account leadership roles for the business. For this reason, it is essential that the individual is willing to travel extensively and relocate for promotional opportunities.

Job Description

Lead teams, following standard transition methodology, to enable service delivery at new or existing accounts.

  • May be asked to assist the business pursuit teams by presenting transition services to prospective clients.
  • In tandem with the commercial solutions team, develop transition budgets and timelines for client solutions.
  • Working closely with the Transition Project Manager and Workstream Leads to identify transition tasking, interdependencies, risks, barriers, and prepare transition plans for new business.
  • Once business is awarded, work closely with the client, operations team and the functional workstream leads to implement the new services.
  • Identify gaps or missing critical information during the hand off from the commercial team. Work with the appropriate teams to resolve/escalate as appropriate in order to ensure successful client on-boarding and transition.
  • Review and understand complex documents to include service agreements, business solutions, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • During the transition, work with the Talent Acquisition, Operations and People Workstreams to source, interview, hire, and on-board new employees.
  • Ensure that the new team has the necessary training, tools, equipment and supplies to deliver awarded services.
  • Work closely with the client to ensure priorities are met, a healthy governance is initiated and any escalations are addressed promptly.
  • Work with the Transition Project Manager to monitor, track and report transition progress; identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that the prescribed solution is followed closely, and any changes are approved following the C&W Services delegation of authority.
  • Manage transition finances to ensure costs are controlled and budgets are met.
  • Provide on-going support for the Operations group and their customers until the account is stabilized and operating independently.
