Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Janitorial Site Manager who will have ownership and accountability to directly manage airport janitorial cleaning services.

Directs janitorial program from 25-30 Janitorial staff to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of establishment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Overall supervision of personnel including staffing, employee relations, evaluations, recruitment, training, payroll, and related matters.
• Makes decisions regarding hiring, discipline and termination, subject to the review of the Director and Human Resources.  
• Direct the daily activities of all C&W Services janitorial/housekeeping employees. 
• Promotes janitorial quality initiatives by conducting inspections; gaining feedback from meetings; enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service issues.
• Financial oversight managing annual budget.
• Prepare monthly billing to the client with the support of the account Director, that includes backup on schedules, hours worked and expense details.

• Manage facility budgeting process to ensure appropriate and timely preparation. â¯Work with established constraints and facility conditions and report on variances when applicable.
• Ensure that all work performed under his/her supervision is done in a timely and cost effective manner according to the applicable codes.
• Establish and implement periodic schedules and procedures for the janitorial program.
• Ensure that all facilities under his/her responsibility are safe and comply with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Ensure that environmental procedures and issues are being implemented through the direction of the customerâ™s environmental specialist representative.

• Inventories supplies and equipment.
• Enforce company safety practices, including injury report and investigations and conduct monthly safety training.
• Investigates new and improved cleaning instruments and methods.
• Special projects and other related duties as requested and needed.
• Organize and develop short and long term goals and objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements: 

• Have at least three years of cleaning contract management experience within the last five years in an airport environment.(preferred)
• Experience managing 20-25 janitorial employees.
• Work well in a high visibility environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office

Scheduling flexibility 

• Support the needs of the client remotely when called for escalations.
• May need change schedule based on the needs of the client.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and capable of extensive bending, stooping, stretching, pushing, and carrying.
