Human Resources Assistant

Overview:

In the role of HR Assistant, you will support the HR Department and assist in all areas; benefits, recruitment, HRIS, and employee relations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Administer employee benefits that include Health and Wellness programs
• Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations
• Coordinate meetings, training materials, and resources
• Manage and maintain department intranet pages
• Maintain electronic personnel files and benefit files, including scanning and copying
• Miscellaneous HR reporting (monthly, quarterly)
• Spanish Translator for policies, procedures, counseling, and HR communications
• Support and participate in HR projects, volunteer activities, and other HR admin duties

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a BA and two or more years’ related work experience or a combination of work experience and college.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required with proficiency in Excel and Pivot Tables.

Oracle HR/OAB or other HRIS system experience is a plus. It also requires effective written and oral communication skills, organizational and multi-tasking abilities, and judgment and discretion in handling sensitive data and confidential information.
