Job Description
The role of the HR Business Partner (HRBP) is to partner with and advise the Business Leaders within Global Occupier Services (GOS) and lead and implement the talent strategy of the business. This role will assist in driving key talent initiatives to develop our human capital and provide support to client accounts. In addition, this role will be responsible for leading the HR component of transitions and key HR related initiatives including the relevant change management and introduction of overall HR best practices. In all aspects this role will need to work with global and in-country HR in their various areas of expertise as well as continuously prioritize key initiatives and deadlines. The role will report to the Global VP, Head of People Partnering for GOS and matrix into the APAC Business Executive.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in tandem with in-country HR teams, you will:
Transition Management
- Represent GOS APAC as the HR Business transition lead with all associated client engagement
- Work closely and consult with GOS People Transitions Lead and leverage established best practices throughout the full lifecycle including RFI, RFP, sales presentations, award and client onboarding activities.
- Oversee transitions for new large client onboarding; transition employees from previous engagements to join the C&W team
- Form part of the APAC Transition Team accountable for the HR component of the transition as a critical member of the team.
- Provide regular updates to the Global Transition Team, including global and local GOS Leadership, on progress and risks.
Talent Management
- Drive annual HR process ensuring the processes are aligned with the global, regional, and local HR plans, and messaging is consistent.
- Resource and succession planning – in close cooperation with the leadership and local People teams, identify future resourcing needs, build succession plans and proactively identify resourcing options to close potential resourcing gaps
- Talent Acquisition – partner with the Talent Acquisition and Talent Management teams to source, attract and hire talent for all roles.
- Talent development – Manage talent review process, performance management, and employee growth programs for GOS within the APAC region, ensuring the continuous supply, development and retention of top talent.
- Use workforce data and apply analytical skills to formulate people insights and recommendations, with specific focus on reducing turnover.
- Collaborate across the global People COEs and counterparts to drive a holistic experience to business leadership
- Work with various stakeholders on a wide variety of global HR initiatives and projects across multiple HR disciplines, including, but not limited to: compensation, diversity and inclusion, governance and policy, change management, talent management, performance management, and acquisition integration.
- Budgeting – support the global and regional leadership teams in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes
Operations
- Work closely with Global HR Centers of Excellence and local in-country People Partners and Business leaders to facilitate hiring, onboarding, compensation reviews, performance management, and HR processes and procedures.
- Assist employees in their compensation & benefits inquiries; provide guidance to employees on implementation of local mandatory regulations, and direct employees as necessary to the HR Employee and Manager Self Service Portal, HelpHub
- Provide HR related reports to GOS Leadership, including but not limited to turnover, tenure, growth, mobility, etc.
- Work with Management to manage Workforce Organization Structure within Workday
- Actively participate in programs to validate, update and cleanse HR related data within the HR platforms.
- Lead and/or support GOS regional initiatives such as DE&I and Employee Resource Programs
- Coordinate with in-country HR Business Partners to resolve employee relations issues, including investigations and recommended action plans
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree. Human Resource Management preferred.
- 5 years of experience or more
- Experience in real estate, property management or professional services is a plus
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment, preferably with Asia/international organizations
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with ability to deal with ambiguity. Adapts easily to rapidly changing business conditions
- Operates effectively in a matrix environment and working across countries, regions and companies
- Possesses a continuous improvement mentality – able to challenge status quo and encourage new ways of thinking and doing.
- High EQ with excellent relationship building skills. Open, flexible, able to learn new concepts quickly, and communicate with people at all levels and from different background
- Self-starter, able to work independently and takes ownership for problems
- MS Office proficiency and HRIS systems experience, specifically Workday preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication capabilities
