To keep up with a growing workload in the North Island, we currently require an experienced Handyman to join our Team based at Auckland Prison.
The successful applicant will be part of a diverse trades team comprised of Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC and Carpentry/Handyman services, working out of the Paremoremo Prison site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Workload will consist of a combination of planned and reactive maintenance and project work.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
Commercial maintenance experience is essential.
General understanding of core building services, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing.
Must be available to work on the on-call roster.
Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Extensive General Handyman Skills are essential.

Health & Safety is a priority for Cushman & Wakefield and the successful candidate will be expected to have a good understanding of the H&S requirements and behaviors in commercial environment. Good personal presentation and customer service skills are also essential, as is a clean full driver’s licence.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a drug test, complete a Pre-employment Health Questionnaire and MOJ check. A criminal conviction review is also a requirement of the role.
