GOS Client AccountantJob Description Summary
Responsible for performance of cash and accrual functions, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting. Accountant will assist with support in operations and some administrative/clerical support for the Finance Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining and updating financial records using Excel, Yardi, Workday, and assisting with the budget/forecast preparations.Job Description
* Performs full cycle accounting with the analysis of all accounts and accounting transactions.
*Prepares and assists with cash management, AP/AR, accruals, and reconciliations.
* Prioritize and maintain organization of high-volume workload for a large client.
* Prepares Financial Reporting Packages for client in accordance with internal controls.
* Apply the financial policies and procedures of the company and bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.
* Research, analyze and effectively communicate basic accounting issues and escalate appropriately.
* Prepares and submits documentation for expense reports, Project Management Variable, and Internal Invoicing.
* May compile reports to show variances between multiple properties to ensure projects have enough remaining funds.
* Monthly tasks include bank reconciliations, financial reports, posting payroll, maintaining accounts receivable, and calculation of Management Fees.
* Comply and assist with internal and external audits by providing appropriate documentation and information as requested.
