Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

The FP&A Manager will oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis for the US Investment Management (USIM) business. This includes preparation of annual business plans, tracking and reporting of key performance indicators that drive firm profitability, communicating financial information to the business and business partnering with leadership. The role will also include input into the consolidation and analysis of global businesses and wider Global Investment Management business plan.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead the newly formed FP&A team to ensure a high caliber financial forecasting process is established to help influence business decision
  • Preparation of yearly business plan & reforecasts with business stakeholders. Preparation of all materials, analysis, and commentary
  • Preparation of monthly management reporting package and walkthrough with business leads, including key metrics, revenue, and EBITDA analysis
  • Prepare departmental reporting for each of the departmental heads
  • Business partner with country and departmental heads to ensure financial literacy of figures to make better decisions
  • Partner with technology teams to enhance budgeting tools to make process more efficient
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to requests from business leaders and others related to financial reports, statements, and established budgets.
  • Work towards annual goals and objectives for the team, implement workflows for effective and efficient completion of tasks. Implement process and procedural improvements to streamline work, increase productivity, and maintain service and quality excellence.
  • Complete various financial, accounting, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or applicable field
  • Superior communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated advanced analytic skills and high attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on Powerpoint
  • Experience with complex Company Structures
  • Experience with FP&A system tools
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment, and balance multiple priorities

Experience & Skills:

  • Essential:
  • Experience working within and implementing FP&A technology systems
  • Experience of working in a similar role within a fast-paced multi-jurisdictional business within the Real Estate Investment sector
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and explain financial data to business leaders and managers, team members, and other business contacts.
  • Strong presentation of financial information – written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated management and supervisory skills sufficient to lead, direct, evaluate, and mentor junior team members and/or peers.
  • Strong team working and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manipulate and sort large volume of data in excel
  • Demonstrated advanced analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a methodical and organized approach

Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.
