Responsibilities
- Leading a team to ensure finance operations is operating at an optimal level for the G&I FM Accounts
- Initiate, establish strong accounting processes and periodically review and improve existing processes at site and to ensure compliance with contract requirements, local FRS and US GAAP (revenue and cost recognition) standards
- Initiate, develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist in reviewing and implementation of financial policies and procedures and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare monthly interim management report, including overall P&L analysis and to provide commentaries to FP&A team on key variances between budget and actual P&L performance
- Lead annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecast exercise
- Provide finance related advice (budgetary/spending) to business unit leaders with the aim to achieve financial & business goals
- Initiate and develop segment P&L reporting to measure respective business performance against plan
- To lead in ad-hoc projects as assigned
- Resolve billing and collection discrepancies
- Liaise with suppliers for invoicing and payment matters.
- Support Corporate Finance team for all finance related matters
Requirements
- Chartered accountant, Bachelor degree in Accountancy, ACCA related field
- 5 years of relevant experience in budgeting (bottom up budgeting process), forecast, variance analysis and finance business partner to the business line leaders
- Preferably from real estate, facilities management, REITs industry would be highly advantageous
- An ability to critically appraise situations as and when they arise, with a view to protecting each stakeholder’s interests will be treated with preference.
- The right candidate must be highly numerate, meticulous, and possess strong communication skills.
- Prior experience within the facilities management industry and experience of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards is preferred.
