Job Description
Role Profile:
This is a pivotal support role based in Paris working for France Finance team, overseeing operational Finance activity, alongside assisting the profitable growth and development of the business and its overall performance with respect to the following:
- . Revenue and cost controlling involving accruals & deferrals calculation and review.
- Build-up budget planning and forecasting, especially through a strong, accurate and consistent financial model.
- Provide monthly management reporting as well as quarterly/half/full yearly reporting, including trend commentary and on-going updates as to trends in spending and where risks or opportunities lie
- Build a strong relationship with Business as a business partner and be supportive, including in managing performance by accurate analysis
- Operational finance and Compliance administration Support
Core Responsibilities:
Business partnering – support strategy and tactical execution at a Country level
- Provide thought leadership to develop and deliver all finance activities including monthly reporting framework, finance presentation to the Board, any EMEA requests, etc.
- Support France’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and ensure adequate ownership and accountability exists for cost and commercial targets.
- Establish a reporting framework to enable France business teams to monitor performance, identify variances and take timely remedial actions.
- Own production of accurate and insightful financial narratives for EMEA CFO and FP&A team.
- Produce analysis to support the decision-making process in France.
- Design, build and implement efficient processes in our local finance team and establish a work environment for interfaces to other internal departments (e.g. HR, Legal, Marketing & Research…).
- Performance tracking of acquisitions , investments or any cost savings synergy plan.
- Work closely with EMEA Controller and EMEA Tax team, FSC, other external suppliers for auditing or tax advice to ensure all statutory and tax requirements relevant to France are understood, and that plans, and resources are in place to ensure these requirements are met.
- Ensure EMEA FP&A guidance with respect to recast of financial information is timely and accurately implemented.
- Where required, manage and establish relationship to our banks and other local authorities.
Team engagement
- Work closely with EMEA Finance Teams, SSC, and other external suppliers and engage collaboratively with the rest of EMEA / France Functions if required.
- Develop constructive working relations where mutual needs and priorities are understood and supported.
- Actively manage the Shared Services Center teams supporting France’s business, embracing the “one team” mentality. Provide the offshore teams with a level of focused business knowledge which supports their activities, aligning Cluster / EMEA finance priorities and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree from Business School or Engineering School with a financial background or from well-known university (eg. Dauphine)
Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience as Finance Manager with P&L responsibility and overall comparable working experience in a dynamic international matrix environment.
- Experience working in business with key process outsourcing
- English is a “must have” / Knowledge of the real estate sector would be an advantage.

Description du poste :
Le(la) Finance Business Partner est responsable de la gestion financiere et du reporting de l’activite France en parfaite collaboration avec le Country Head et l’equipe de direction du pays dans la perspective de la mise en oeuvre de la strategie de l’entreprise.
Base(e) a Paris, rattache(e) au Directeur Financier France, vous travaillez au sein de l’equipe Finance France et supervisez l’activite Finance operationnelle, tout en contribuant au developpement de l’entreprise et a ses performances globales. Votre perimetre d’intervention se declinera comme suit (liste non exhaustive) :
- S’assurer de la profitabilite en controlant les revenus et les couts,
- Elaborer la planification et les previsions budgetaires, en particulier grace a un modele financier solide et coherent,
- Fournir des rapports de gestion mensuels, des rapports trimestriels/semestriels/annuels, en faisant part des commentaires sur les tendances et des mises a jour permanentes sur l’evolution des depenses et sur les risques ou les opportunites,
- Etablir une relation solide avec les Business Units en tant que Business Partner et les soutenir, notamment en gerant les performances au moyen d’analyses pertinentes et precises,
- Participer a des projets strategiques et/ou structurants de developpement et d’organisation.
Missions principales :
Partenariat commercial (Business Partner) – soutenir la strategie et la mise en oeuvre au niveau national- Developper et realiser toutes les activites financieres, y compris le reporting mensuel, les presentations aupres du Board, repondre aux demandes provenant d’EMEA, etc…
- Gerer le processus budgetaire (AOP) de la France et s’assurer qu’il existe une appropriation et une responsabilite adequates des objectifs financiers par les operationnels,
- Apporter les ameliorations continues au reporting/process permettant aux equipes France de suivre les performances, d’identifier les ecarts et de prendre des mesures correctives en temps voulu,
- Assurer la responsabilite de la production de rapports financiers precis et pertinents pour le Directeur Financier et l’equipe FP&A d’EMEA,
- Fournir des analyses a la direction et aux membres du Board pour aider a la prise de decision en France,
- Mettre en place des processus efficaces au sein de notre equipe financiere locale et etablir une synergie avec d’autres departements internes (par exemple, RH, Juridique, Marketing & Recherche…).
- Travailler en etroite collaboration avec les equipes EMEA, le Centre de Services Partages (FSC), et d’autres prestataires externes pour l’audit ou le conseil fiscal afin de s’assurer que tout est mis en oeuvre pour respecter les exigences statutaires et fiscales relatives a la France,
- Le cas echeant, gerer les projets ad hoc lies a la mise en place de la strategie de l’entreprise ou d’amelioration de l’organisation et des processus de l’entreprise.
Engagement de l’equipe
- Travailler en etroite collaboration avec les equipes financieres de la region EMEA, le Centre de Services Partages (FSC) et autres fournisseurs externes, et collaborer avec le reste des autres departements de la region EMEA ou France si necessaire,
- Developper des relations de travail constructives ou les besoins et priorites mutuels sont compris et soutenus,
- Gerer activement les equipes du Centre de Services Partages (FSC) qui travaillent pour la France, et leur fournir un niveau de connaissance metier qui permette d’optimiser leur activite, tout en alignant les priorites et les resultats financiers de la region EMEA.
Profil :
- Diplome(e) d’un Master en ecole de commerce ou ecole d’ingenieurs avec une formation financiere, ou d’une universite renommee (par exemple Dauphine),
- Experience en tant qu’Analyste Financier avec des responsabilites en matiere de gestion budgetaire complete d’un P&L dans un environnement matriciel international dynamique,
- Anglais obligatoire,
- Experience de travail dans un cadre de services partages externalises et connaissance du secteur immobilier seraient un plus.
