Job Description
To provide facility technician to manage day to day facilities operation station at Jalan Bukit Jambul, Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia. The responsibility of the technician shall be as below:
Facility Technician (Rotating Shift)
- Responsible for the PM maintenance, repairing and servicing of all facilities, safety items and equipment including maintaining of all related records and perform proper filling.
- Perform operational, preventive maintenance tasks and corrective work as instructed and in accordance with written orders or checklist.
- Monitor and assist all contractors engaged by the company for any specialist or maintenance works on site.
- Perform task independently, safely and within the established man-hour budget.
- Comply with company rules and regulations and adhered to company standards.
- Assist in the implementation of EHS regulation and COVID-19 SOP.
- Ensure effective good housekeeping in the workplace.
- Will assigned as one of the ERT member.
- Participation in all Team Meeting and Training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You are:
- Diploma or Certificate with relevant working experience in maintenance and technical field is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experiences in related works.
- Basic knowledge in electrical and HVAC system.
- Basic in MS Office Applications
- Adapt to communicate and engage with people from various cultures, background and levels.
- Able to perform duties independently.
- Attributes such as ability to work in a fast-paced environment, proactive and sense of urgency with a “can do” attitude is a must.
- Able to attend to the site whenever there is emergency issue on site.
- Willing to work during public holiday or as and when required.
- Comfortable in multi-tasking and meets with deadlines whenever required.
Working Hours at Site
- Time : 8am – 8pm (12 hours shift)
- Days: 4 days a week including Weekends, public holidays
- Working location: Jalan Bukit Jambul, Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.
