The Cushman & Wakefield service delivery team is responsible for the delivery of a range of property and facilities management services and its various agencies nominated freehold and leasehold property portfolio across New South Wales (NSW). This includes property and facility management, procurement exercises, minor churn, environmental and associated financial management services.

The Cushman & Wakefield service delivery team is responsible for the delivery of a range of property and facilities management services and its various agencies nominated freehold and leasehold property portfolio across New South Wales (NSW). This includes property and facility management, procurement exercises, minor churn, environmental and associated financial management services.

The portfolio is diverse and includes, but is not limited to, commercial offices, depots and heavy vehicle inspection stations.

Customer Experience is fundamental to Cushman & Wakefield’s delivery team therefore excellent customer service and communication is a must. Full adherence to all WHS, compliance and asset life cycle planning is also essential.

About the role:

  • Deliver facility management and life cycle management to all nominated client properties. Management includes both strategic asset management services and the day to day operations of the client portfolio to ensure no unplanned outages.
  • This role supports the Contract Manager and Senior Facilities & Asset Manager in achieving client outcomes and contributes to innovation initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Delivery of the site-specific asset management plans within budget and management of minor works
  • End to end management of environmental initiatives, procurement exercises, contractor management and the safe operation of all contractors
  • Support a team of Service Delivery Managers to ensure contract, KPI and expected service delivery requirements.
  • Provide the upmost in Customer Experience for your clients, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring high levels of communication
  • Manage site operations, including scheduled and ad-hoc works, to ensure continuity of property services with minimum disruption to business operations
  • Manage and control budget and cost expenditure to contractual requirements for facilities management operations, for both preventative and reactive maintenance works, at nominated sites.
  • Monitor and implement asset management and ensure all preventative maintenance services are captured and delivered in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines / legislative requirements and site asset requirements
  • Manage reactive maintenance via the Help Desk function and analyse data to ensure attendance and rectification times are met to ensure contractual compliance
  • Review and approve quotes, invoices and purchase orders within delegated authority procedures
  • Conduct property condition audits (travel required) as per contract requirements and ensure resulting documentation, images and other inspection data is captured and uploaded
  • Conduct / support subcontractor procurement in line with Cushman & Wakefield policy and in compliance with the NSW Government Procurement Rules. Manage the ongoing performance of contractors
  • Identify and support implementation of cost saves, innovation and best practice
  • Ensure that safety measures and systems are implemented in accordance with relevant legislation, policy, compliance and customer safety requirements. Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments for the tasks associated with the contract
  • Provision of monthly reporting and administrative requirements, including meeting minutes as required
  • Reporting, investigating and closing out critical (P1) incident reports (24/7).
  • Manage contractor performance to ensure costs and workmanship meet client needs and industry standard
  • Support of Service Delivery Managers to achieve service excellence for the client
  • Occasional requirement to work extended hours due to high client workload plus a requirement to be available 24/7 in emergency situations (or have sufficient backfill in place if unavailable)

About You:

  • Control of major facilities or projects with multiple sites
  • Client relationship experience with a solid focus on stakeholder management and customer service
  • Strong administration and PC skills with knowledge of software systems relative to commercial property
  • Strong contractor management experience
  • Communication and supervisory skills
  • Budget and Asset management
  • Negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in facilities management or a building related discipline.
