Job Description Summary

• Will be responsible for having knowledge base to schedule, overseeing and completing payment of facilities vendors
• Perform general maintenance services and other skills as required, to include, but not limited to, repairs and light maintenance to building, facilities, and service equipment, and general maintenance such as light plumbing, changing lights, changing filters, installing TVs and white boards, putting furniture and racks together, perform planned PM activities (example fire pump, recycling. Company vehicle maintenance and generators) and general labor in buildings.
• May be assigned to such activities as moving furniture, take recyclable trash to containers and general labor on as needed basis. The kind of work the technician performs varies from day to day. Perform maintenance and repairs to various facility equipment and systems.

Job Description

• Responsible for having knowledge base to overseeing facilities vendors, for example: plumbing, electrical, furniture, landscaping, fire systems, HVAC.
• Daily checks of the Ball Corp. buildings (3 currently).
• Completing and closing work orders.
• Completing all monthly preventive maintenance items assigned to him (example: fire pump, recycling, company vehicles, and generators).
• Remove recyclable trash and bring it to the corresponding compactor.
• Move and relocate furniture, as required.
• Must be able to read and respond emails and execute basic tasks in the computer
• Install/remove pictures and other wall decorative paraphernalia
• Have a current driver’s license.
• Must have reliable means of transportation to the site.
• Must pass background check and anti-doping tests.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills requiredGraduate of a technical or trade school preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, control sequences and have a clear understanding of codes and regulations.
• Ability to read schematics, job instructions, and general correspondence.
