Enterprise Data Product Owner
The Data Product Owner in the Greystar Enterprise Data Team assists the organization in achieving its data and analytics strategic goals by realizing the value of our data and managing the product lifecycle. Your leadership spanning data and analytics technologies, business, and agile practices will play a vital role in the creation of solutions for customer and internal facing data systems. The Data Product Owner owns the product roadmap, prioritization efforts, stakeholder management, and communications and is responsible for ensuring that data products are released with the proper training, release documentation, and communications in place.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Responsibilities:
- Own the product roadmap, backlog, and priorities
- Ensure proper requirements have been gathered and that the solutions meet the business needs
- Work collaboratively with the team and stakeholders to clearly define goals and objectives for initiatives and ensure work alignment that continually delivers business value
- Communicate and manage stakeholder groups
- Write epics and user stories in Product Plan and Azure DevOps
- Develop and deliver training and release documentation for products and enhancements
- Participate in agile ceremonies, grooming, retro, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Solid data analysis background
- Superior verbal & written communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to thoroughly understand complex issues; plan, prioritize, and organize effectively.
- Previous data product or product management experience.
- Excellent meeting and conflict management skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate to cross functional leaders and senior executives internally and externally
- Self-starter with strong organizational, managerial and project management skills
- Able to design, review, and optimize product plans, identify critical dependencies, sequencing and risks, and drive projects to success
- Familiarity with Product Plan and Azure DevOps a plus
The base compensation rate will vary based on education, experience, skills, and geographic location, as applicable.

Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their salary. Team members may also participate in the 401k plan, once eligible. Regular, full-time team members are offered a range of medical, financial, and other benefits from which to choose.
