About the RoleCushman & Wakefield are seeking an experienced Electrician to support the delivery of outstanding Facility Management Services on behalf of a healthcare client based in Herston Quarter.
You will be an individual that is motivated by quality, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, as well as someone who is aware of hygiene practices in keeping with working in a healthcare environment.
You will be tasked to undertake the performance of assigned planned maintenance works and works to ensure practical operational support on behalf of the client.

About the business
A great opportunity exists to join the Cushman & Wakefield Facilities team as we expand our operations. Our maintenance team are seeking an Electrician with experience in building services maintenance to assist our contract and Operation Manager, providing excellent customer service on behalf of our client.
About the role
We currently have a full-time position for experienced Electrician in the Brisbane area. As a member of the team, you will be reporting into the Trades Supervisor, where your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Undertake urgent, routine & ad-hoc maintenance, repairs, inspections.
- Be able to conduct other small maintenance works outside the scope of plumbing
- Working autonomously and run your own preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Manage external subcontractors, ensuring a high standard of work is maintained at all times
- Working in a team environment to complete all maintenance and minor project related tasks.
- General ad hoc duties as requested by the Trades Superv
- Promote working in a team environment with work colleagues
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position you will bring previous experience in a similar environment. Minimum requirements include:
- Relevant Trade Qualification – Electrical.
- Building, construction or Facility Maintenance background such as repairs and preventative maintenance
- Experienced working in a strict WHSSE quality environment
- Plumbing experience, general maintenance, and overall facility maintenance experience.
- Experience in CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) would be advantageous
- Experience or Knowledge in BMS (Building Management Systems) would be advantageous
