Director Software Applications
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Implements and maintains information systems software programs for the organization by analyzing current and future computer and system needs, purchasing necessary applications, licenses, and resources, and installing, configuring, and troubleshooting systems as necessary.
- Acts as liaison with management and property teams by conducting regular communication to discuss computer and systems initiatives, design requirements, determine objectives and deliverables, and provide follow-up and training results to ensure system consistency and integrity and ascertain if needs are being met to enable employees and the organization to achieve performance requirements.
- Researches, selects, and manages third-party partners as necessary to support training or system maintenance needs, develops technical documentation, end-user training manuals and support documents, and provides user training and support for existing users.
- Provides qualitative analysis for the information systems direction of the Company in data mining, warehousing, and reporting to ensure consistency and compatibility of systems across the organization, and facilitates the integration of the information systems programs and equipment of mergers and acquisitions.
- Supervises team members by interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees, and manages their performance in accordance with Company policies, values, and business practices.
- Participates in and oversees systems aspects related to proposed take-overs, develops and implements project plans to ensure smooth integration and systems/data conversion, and assists in systems upgrades as needed.
- Completes various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary. Once eligible, team members may participate in the 401k plan. Regular, full-time team members are also offered a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits from which to choose.
