Job Description Summary

This position is responsible for key Labs Program development and operations functions including coordination of cross function SOPs, labs program development and governance, staff training, program coverage and growth.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES (7-10 with highest % time spent listed first):

  • Partners with the Director of Space, Director of Project Management, and the key stakeholders in support of growth, training, governance, and SOP compliance.
  • Responsible for all Program elements across all affected business lines such as facilities management, engineering, maintenance, projects, and space.
  • Makes decisions to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, cost savings, and innovative service advancements for all functional areas within the service line
  • Lead development of core program tools – all C&W tools, process, templates and outputs standardized and customized to client’s ways of working
  • Identifies gaps in processes within the program and determines improvements
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 7-10 years of related work experience in design, construction, engineering
  • 5-7 years of Management experience

Specialized knowledge / skills:

  • Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and refine processes, formulate conclusions and recommendations
  • Experienced in managing programs of varied scope and complexity
  • Proficient in Google Suite software applications
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective services
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills
  • Assumes ownership of requests in order to ensure successful completion
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and direction

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
  • May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner.
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type.
  • Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays.
