The Director of Operations will be focused on supporting the Enterprise Account Director to ensure alignment of all contract deliverables across all service lines supporting the client account. The position requires proven senior management experience in a highly dynamic setting. Organizational, communication, and leadership skills are a priority to develop solutions that push innovative boundaries. The position works closely with the Account Director to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success. Key areas of focus include staff leadership, client engagement, account governance, performance management, and strategic initiatives, and account culture. Responsibilities include creating a solution-oriented environment where the team is consistently seeking to identify leading edge practices focused on delivering value to the client within the requirements of the account and C&W.Job Description
Leadership/People Management
* Provide leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support to deliver best in class solutions for the account. Develop and maintain relationships with team leaders driving the operational and strategic goals and supporting effective communications
* Ensure alignment across functional groups. Use cross-functional knowledge and seek to understand issues, trends and perspective that may influence the business.
* Develop, implement, and support plans for operational infrastructure enhancements of systems, processes, tools, and resources to accommodate and maximize the growth objectives of the organization
* Maintain a level of understanding of critical issues, and identify risks and key accomplishments, drive deliverables and manage updates accordingly. Assist the Enterprise-Wide Account Director in delivering financial results as well as assist Finance Department in preparing monthly invoices, operational reports, budgets, variances, and forecasting.
* Liaison with C&W’s HR department on employee matters.
* Responsible for end-to-end employee management including hiring, onboarding, leading developing, and mentoring team members.
* Ensure compliance with HR policies and talent practices such as midyear/yea- end reviews.
* Diversify and develop workforce by ensuring a diverse slate of candidates are considered for all open positions, retaining top talent and work with Account director to establish succession plans, career development plans, regular one-on-one coaching meetings and lead weekly team meetings.
* Ensure accurate data is provided to support resource models and align employees’ skill sets with work assignments and balance project workload within team.
* Ability to lead diverse teams.
* Advance and support the organization’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives.
