Director, Human Resources
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide advice, guidance and coaching to managers and leaders on the key areas of HR.
- Build strong relationships with team members and business leaders across the organization.
- Deliver key people initiatives and change programmes by engaging business stakeholders and partnering with the broader HR team.
- Support the IM business in diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives
- Monitor and coordinate employee relations cases, performance issues, and EEO matters with leaders, ensuring resolution is achieved in an effective and timely manner.
- Support the effective management of change across the business; leading strategies that drive high levels of commitment to achieving agreed outcomes.
- Support Talent Acquisition processes as required.
- Support the development and deployment of training and education programs as appropriate.
- Assist in the corporate merger and acquisition process, participating in due diligence activities and onboarding as necessary.
- Develop and report on key HR metrics to enable the identification of trends and the continuous improvement of people management activities, including employee engagement.
- Provide support to leaders and manage the annual performance and compensation review process.
- Develop strong relationships with HR functions such as HRIS, Benefits, Payroll and Compensation.
- Provide policy and procedure guidance for leaders and team members on HR issues and advise on the appropriate course of action.
- Leading on and representing the US IM business in HR projects.
- Provide expert guidance regarding the interpretation of federal, state and local laws pertaining to HR. Assist in responding to EEOC and DOL charges and other related issues.
- Maintain familiarity with all benefits programs in order to accurately communicate and provide resolution to team member issues and questions.
Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary. Once eligible, team members may participate in the 401k plan. Regular, full-time team members are also offered a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits from which to choose.
