Job Description Summary

The role is a key member of the Ericsson client account leadership team leading the Environmental, Health, Safety strategy (EHS) and holding dotted line to the Global Occupier Services (GOS) Senior Managing Director – EHS. The Global EHS Lead will ensure regulatory requirements, client EHS systems, Service Level Agreements, Statements of Work, policies, and initiatives are integrated into C&W account operations.
Partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure C&W has a well-designed process for EHS Governance and risk management. Serves as a lead EHS subject matter expert on: EHS management systems, technical standards, and best practices.

Job Description

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Collaborates with Account leadership to ensure implementation of EHS systems.
  • Reports on EHS performance to the GOS Leadership team
  • Develops EHS strategic objectives for ensuring operational excellence.
  • Provides technical advice on EHS issues notifications of changes and governance that will impact service delivery and/or client occupancy.
  • Implements EHS technology platforms and data management tools across multiple regions.
  • Delivers best practices globally including management of change for Facilities.
  • Communicates the EHS vision to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supports Ericsson’s needs or request with regulatory inspections or audits.
  • Provides advisory and tactical services for Ericsson on EHS issues.
  • Performs construction activity oversight and implements Ericcson construction EHS standards.
  • Defines the EHS responsibilities/governance of the C&W Suppliers/Contactors.
  • Collaborates with Ericcson to ensure regulatory/legislative/governance requirements are implemented in accordance with the client’s existing programs.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in EHS discipline or relevant scientific or engineering field.
  • Requires 15 + years of experience within the EHS profession.
  • Experience within Operational Management systems and working with corporate clients.
  • Understanding of global and EHS legal requirements (i.e.: Regulations, Codes, Standards, Directives, and Administrative Policies) and provide regulatory knowledge, technical expertise.
  • Demonstrated leadership, influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to leverage office systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, etc.
  • The ability to travel (approximately 15% to 20%).
  • Experience within Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) is desirable.
  • Experience applying EHS in Latin America Countries is desirable.
  • Candidates with experience in a Manufacturing setting are desirable
  • Candidates with Professional Certifications (CSP, ASP, etc.) are desirable.
