Job Description Summary

The Director, COE Technical Programs is responsible for assisting in the provision of industry best practices to deliver leading edge asset management solutions for a reliable, compliant and sustainable work environment for the client’s key stakeholders. Demonstrating program progress and success through the development of programs centering around a critical engineering environment. Key program components include; sustainability & regulatory compliance, continuity & risk management, mission critical operations, and maintenance & engineering.
Responsible for supporting a highly functioning team which leverages client managed technology platforms and data driven analytics for integrated facilities management (IFM) strategy, solutions, and delivery of services. This role will evolve all services and programs into a predictive rather than reactive model. Expectations are to deliver value through strategic thinking, thought leadership, innovation and operational excellence to further advance a program unique to the integrated facilities management industry.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES (7-10 with highest % time spent listed first):

  • Leads a network of internal and external global experts in identifying and informing our vision, insights and methodologies in the context of people and their work and tools.

  • Describes, and ultimately proves the value of E&M ideas that will move the business forward and drive efficiency.

  • Works with teams to craft the tools that best convey the vision, insight and methodologies to relevant ideas, processes and initiatives

  • Develop and align asset management program and sync FM, Engineering and Maintenance Teams

  • Works with other knowledge leaders in areas such as E&M, CMMS, management methods and technology to inform point of view.

  • Performs other related duties as required or requested, develop and build key relationships within IFM, COE and E&M. Support the Sr Director of CoE in delivery of responsibilities related to client portfolio.

  • Work collaboratively with managers in Engineering & Maintenance, IFM, Projects and Finance.

  • Execute the asset management strategy outlined by the client and defined by account Platform and Strategic Leads.

  • Work closely with the Engineering & Maintenance team to update and maintain various spreadsheets, databases, and document management systems.

  • Assist in the development of policy documentation, tools and reports.

  • Attend various meetings and record minutes for review and distribution.

  • Create and develop visual presentations.

  • Assist in the coordination of events such as meetings, workshops and conferences.

  • Maintain constant and positive communication with all Client employees, Cushman & Wakefield employees, and vendors.

  • Takes on special projects working independently and/or within a team.

  • Adhere to all client established deadlines.

  • Be familiar with Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures and client policies and procedures as they relate to the position and job description.

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Engineering and Maintenance background is essential.

    • Specify preferred major: Real Estate, Engineering, Facilities Management, Workplace Strategy, or other related field

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years of successful creative experience and solid practice in workplace strategy preferred

  • 5 years of Management Experience

  • 5 years of Engineering and Maintenance experience

  • .Specialized knowledge / skills:

    • Ability to synthesize diverse and complex ideas into a holistic solution.

    • Proven ability to share complex ideas and data in full richness or simple summary.

    • Demonstrated ability to deliver creativity and transformative innovation.

    • Engineering and Maintenance focus, compliance and execution.

    • Knowledge of CMMS systems and quality process control.

    • Excellent communications skills, including listening, leading through influence.

    • Proven ability to troubleshoot process control and bridge engineering and maintenance analytics.

    • Proven analytical skills in Engineering and Maintenance analysis, problem-solving and project management.

    • Previous experience with ISO 55000 Asset certification process a plus.

    • Ability to motivate and engage employees and customers.

    • Demonstrated ability to exercise well developed judgment skills when making decisions.

    • Proven ability to work with speed and agility to produce results.

    • Must be financially literate and possess well-developed business acumen.

    • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
