Data & Analytics Manager

Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Performance Management Asset Services (AS) Americas, the Data & Analytics Manager will organize our analytics function by implementing tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights while leading and developing a team of data analysts
Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Understand short and long term business needs and objectives/strategy while interpreting data and guiding decisions that improve performance
- Present insights and analysis to different teams and partners; analysis, insights, and recommendations from the data; lead analytical and data projects as needed.
- Pursue a deep understanding of business functions and build relationships with applicable stakeholders to help advance data, dashboarding, business development, and analytical needs.
- Maintain a curiosity, awareness and knowledge of new technologies, their possible advantages and applicable relevance to our business; initiate and learn new technologies and methodologies as appropriate.
- Identify process gaps and quality improvement opportunities around existing operational processes and partner with the business to resolve issues and drive improvements and efficiencies.
- Acts as a liaison between AS leaders, Business Intelligence, and Technology and Data Solutions teams to set standards, resolve issues and oversee projects ensuring the system platform is robust, scalable, and flexible while defining the roadmap that will be optimal for the needs of the business.
- Assists with group direction through performance of routine tasks and activities and establishes processes, methods, and systems.
- Develop scope and schedule project reports and manage the development of outlines for clients, asset services team, design and development and phases for assigned project.
- Ensure success in initiation, planning, execution, and close of all projects against agreed targets.
- Ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the assigned department or assigned practice area.
- A proficient working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling and processes as they relate to corporate real estate.

- 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; MBA/CPA preferred.
- Autonomously able to manage a complete project from onset through completion.
- Ability to produce understandable and actionable reports gleaned from data.
- Highly organized with the ability to identify and manage multiple priorities at once.
- Engagement with cross-functional business partners across all departments and levels of the company.
- Expert in client relations, client management and consulting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with highly organized with strong analytical skills.
- Must have the ability to lead a team and/or mentor less experienced team members.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills, and excellent work ethic.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project streams efficiently and diplomatically in a fast-paced and highly matrixed environment.
- Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP.
- Software skills: Proficiency Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Office applications, Yardi.
